Over the past week, our Co-Founders Elisabetta Jiang & Penny Low attended Asia New Vision Forum 2023, organised by Caixin Global. This exclusive event invited over 300 business leaders, policymakers, industry experts & opinion leaders to discuss global, green, tech, and home matters. The event allowed for insightful discussions & brought nuanced Asian perspectives to the modern dynamic business environment.

Our co-founders were delighted to connect with many esteemed individuals, such as:

Mr Heng Swee Keat, Deputy Prime Minister
Mr Gan Kim Yong, Minister of Trade & Industry
Mr Lee Yi Shyan, Former Minister of State
Ms Jacqueline Poh, Managing Partner of the Economic Development Board
Mr Png Cheong Boon, Chairman of EDB
Mr Indra Widjaja, Chairman & CEO of Sinarmas Financial Services
The Asia New Vision Forum highlighted that as the world continues to grow, so will the problems we face. These include larger income inequality and preparation for another pandemic. As such, Caixin highlighted the importance of infrastructure that promotes inclusive & sustainable growth. The key to this growth lies in science & technology, which can be accelerated by Venture Capital & Private Equity companies. We all have a part to play to make the world around us a better place. Many attendees at this event strived to work towards unlocking our global potential & breaking new ground together.

Finally, Ms Penny Low also moderated one of the event’s panel discussions. Titled “Women Leaders in Asia’s New Economy”, this panel highlighted provided insight into the chances and challenges that female leaders face in today’s markets. Ms Low was joined by the following panellists who drew upon their own experience:
Ms Pacita U. Juan, Founder, ECHOstore
Ms Tanya Rolfe, Co-Founder, Sophia
Ms Ciara Sun, Founder and Managing Partner, C² Ventures
