Mindful Moments and Meaningful Connections


We are delighted to share the enriching Evening with Care for Children, where we had the honour of meeting with the Guest of Honor: His Royal Highness Prince Michael of Kent. Robert Glover, Founder of Care for Children, and Thomas Abbot, CEO, shared about how the lives of orphaned children transformed through their decades of hard work by giving each orphaned child the opportunity to grow up in loving families. 


In particular, we were all moved to learn how a disabled orphan who went through their care not only found a family to raise her, but also won a Paralympics gold medal years later. Care for Children also managed to turn a whole Chinese village into a warm home and community to raise orphaned children. We encourage you to watch “Children of Shanghai”, a beautiful and moving documentary showing the success stories of China's first generation of foster children.
